205LR L-Shaped Heater Assembly Replaces 1-205L and 1-205RA Microtech Heaters

Description

New heater assembly model 1-205RA replaces both the 1-205L and 1-205RA Microtech heaters (Microtech only).

This retrofit heater can be oriented either with a left orientation (to replace the 205L) or in a right orientation (to replace the 205RA).  This versatile L-shaped heater assembly also includes the extended pressure switch with wires.

Installation Details:

The new pressure switch location is below the heater tube, outside of the box. (note: this item does not include the pressure switch which is also recommended when replacing these types of heaters and can be purchased separately).

Longer pressure switch wires are included.

The new heater can be mounted either left or right by moving the elbow.

Although the original pressure switch can be reused, it is strongly advised to get a new pressure switch when purchasing this retrofit heater. It is a good preventative practice to replace the pressure switch whenever replacing the heater. 

If needed, see the recommended pressure switch replacement for this heater.  Note this is the better pressure switch to use for this application as it has robust threads that won’t snap off inside the heater if you happen to strike it during installation or when removing a pump or spa pak.
